Dalma Takács
Art Therapist and Autogenic Training Relaxation Leader
I am Dalma Takács, an art therapist and Autogenic Training relaxation leader, and originally, I am a journalist by profession. My path to art therapy was led by my personal experiences. After battling panic disorder for 20 years, I truly understand how it feels to face our demons every day and how it can seem hopeless on difficult days.
That is why I decided to turn the disadvantage I received from life into an advantage. My goal is to offer those who turn to me compassion, empathy, and a safe space where they can experience that they are not alone with their difficulties.
I only work with techniques that I have personally experienced the benefits of. I have completed art therapy training at the Hungarian Art and Social Therapist Community and Autogenic Training Leader training at the Hungarian Relaxation and Symbol Therapy Association. In my workshops and groups, I apply a methodology that individually combines the two.
In 2022, I was the mental health ambassador for the Budapest Pride, and my publications on mental health topics regularly appear on Forbes.hu and WMN.
It is important to emphasize: I am not a psychologist, and I do not perform psychotherapy work. If someone approaches me whose care I am not competent in, I will refer them or accept them with regular consultations with a psychologist.
